Ramban Police Pays Tribute To SPO Rahmatullah, Guard Of Honour Accorded During Last Rites

RAMBAN, SEP 8, 2026: The Police Administration Ramban on Tuesday expressed profound grief over the untimely demise of SPO Rahmatullah (Belt No. 707/SPO), son of Rustam Chopan and a resident of Mundhkal Pogal, who was presently posted at SPO Post Kunda.Rahmatullah unfortunately succumbed to injuries sustained after accidentally falling from a tree.

His untimely demise has left his colleagues, family members and the local community deeply saddened.In recognition of his dedicated services and contribution to the Police Department, the Police Administration Ramban accorded a Guard of Honour and ceremonial salute to his mortal remains during the last rites held at his residence in Mundhkal Maligam at around 6:00 PM on Tuesday.

The solemn ceremony was attended by Additional SP Ramban Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, DySP DAR/DPL Ramban, along with other police personnel, family members, relatives and local residents.Police officers and personnel present on the occasion paid their respects to their departed colleague and remembered his service to the department.The Ramban Police conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul. The Police Department stands with the bereaved family in this difficult and deeply painful hour.
