RAMBAN : BJP Senior Leader and State Executive Member, BJP J&K, Rajeshwar Kumar, on Thursday visited Community Health Centre (CHC) Batote and extended his support to the National Health Mission (NHM) employees protesting over their long-pending service-related demands.During his interaction with the protesting employees, Kumar listened to their concerns and assured them that their genuine demands would be taken up with the concerned authorities at the appropriate level.

Rajeshwar Kumar said that NHM employees have been making a significant contribution to the healthcare system of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in remote and rural areas, where their services play a crucial role in ensuring healthcare delivery to the public.The protesting NHM employees highlighted several key demands, including formulation of a regularisation policy, implementation of equal pay for equal work, a transparent transfer policy, salary enhancement and implementation of the Golden Handshake policy, among other service-related issues.

Rajeshwar Kumar expressed solidarity with the employees and urged the Government to give due consideration to their long-pending demands and initiate meaningful steps towards resolving their grievances at the earliest.He emphasized that employees who have continued to serve the health sector with dedication and commitment deserve fair wages, job security and appropriate service benefits.Rajeshwar Kumar further appealed to the present Government of Jammu and Kashmir to seriously consider the genuine demands of NHM employees and take necessary steps for their early and positive resolution.

He said that fulfilling these long-pending demands would provide much-needed relief to the employees and strengthen their confidence in the healthcare system.Rajeshwar Kumar assured the protesting employees that he would extend every possible support.
